Since ancient times, Aloeswood has been gathered from the dense jungles of Southeast Asia. The trees fall in the forest and after many centuries solidify into a fragrant resin.

This incense was first used in 800 A.D. in the Imperial Court of Japan. Samurai warriors scented their armor with its smoke, for luck, before going to battle.

Lord Buddha was to have said that the smell of Aloeswood burning "is the scent of Nirvana". It is a favorite of Lord Krishna.

How to use: Light the tip of the incense stick, then blow out the flame to produce the delicate wisp of smoke. Place it in the burner, and your room will quickly be filled with a special fragrance.

Each roll contains 60 sticks, 5" long. Made in Japan, Nippon Kodo.
